Ruins

We got to visit these Mayan ruins last P-day. Not many people know about them. They are located in a dense jungle area and it is said that some of the Book of Mormon history happened here.

Grandma Beulah

My Great-Grandma Beulah passed away on March 13, 2010. She was 100 years old! She lived 3 billion, 155 million, 692 thousand and 60o seconds which equals 36,524 days and 1,200 months! Wow! I knew there was a good chance she would pass away while I was on my mission. But I have many wonderful memories of the great times we shared. I love you Grandma...

Planes, Trains and Automobiles!

Hi Everyone! On February 22, I got transferred to Arriaga, Mexico and recieved a call to be Zone Leader. It's sweet! I'm busy with new responsibilities which leaves little time for teaching and tracting in my area. Last week we traveled to the state of Oaxaca to interview an investigater for baptism. Have you seen the movie,'Planes, Trains and Automobiles?' Well, we had to get to a tiny town to meet this guy and by the time we got to his house, we had rode a bus, a motorcycle taxi and crossed a river on a horse! Then we had to do the same going back! It was insane! I love my mission! It's the best ever!

Antonio & Norma and Family

I am serving in Tuxtla Gutierrez now with Elder Britt from Fillmore, Utah. We baptised the Hidalgo Rios Familia on January 9th. It was a wonderful experience for us to be able to baptise an entire family (one of my mission goals)!
